Join us at Fox Creek Bike Park as we celebrate Gravity Girls SA's 3rd birthday with a fun, relaxed day of riding, shuttles and getting our amazing community together! Whether you're a long-time member or supporter, new to the club, or just curious about what we're all about, we'd love you to join us. 📅 Sunday 15 November 2026 📍 Fox Creek Bike Park ⏰ 9:00 am – 2:00 pm 🚵‍♀️ What's happening? 🚐 Free rolling shuttles for GGSA members 🌟 Level 1 Come & Try guided rides for women and girls 🚵 Social riding for members and non-members ♻️ Pre-loved MTB gear swap table 👕 Gravity Girls SA t-shirts for sale 💜 GGSA Annual General Meeting 🌭 Birthday BBQ, cupcakes and plenty of good vibes! The plan is simple - get out on the trails, enjoy some riding with friends (old and new!) and celebrate another fantastic year of Gravity Girls SA. 🎟️ Choose your ticket We've got three ticket options, depending on how you'd like to join the fun! 💜 Option 1: GGSA Member – Free Shuttles 💜 9:30 am – 12:30 pm We're putting on FREE rolling shuttles for registered GGSA members as a little birthday treat! There won't be any set or guided shuttle groups. Instead, you can ride with friends, meet up with other Gravity Girls and choose the trails that suit your riding level. Our GGSA Ride Leaders will be floating around throughout the morning, so if you're not sure who to ride with or would like some help finding a group, come and have a chat! Please register for this ticket if you'd like to use the free member shuttles so we can manage numbers and capacity. 🌟 Option 2: Level 1 Come & Try Ride - Non-Members 🌟 11:00 am – 12:30 pm New to Gravity Girls? We'd love to welcome you! We're running a special Level 1 Come & Try ride for women and girls who aren't currently GGSA members and would like to experience one of our friendly group rides. Who is this ride suitable for? Our Level 1 rides are suitable for riders who: Are confident riding a bike on two wheels, off-road Can comfortably ride green-rated singletrack trails Are comfortable with undulating terrain and some rocky trail features You don't need to be an experienced mountain biker, but you should already have some off-road riding experience. This is a social group ride rather than a beginner skills lesson. What can you expect? You'll be guided by our friendly GGSA Ride Leaders, who are also qualified AusCycling Foundation Level Coaches (or higher). The ride will be relaxed, supportive and a great opportunity to meet other riders, explore the trails and experience what Gravity Girls is all about. By registering for this Come & Try event, you'll also receive AusCycling insurance coverage equivalent to that provided to GGSA members for the activity, subject to the applicable policy terms. Junior riders welcome! Girls aged 10 years and over are welcome to participate. Riders under 14 years of age must have an accompanying adult riding with them for the duration of the ride. 🚵 Option 3: Non-Member – Social Riding / Self-Shuttling 🚵 Not a GGSA member but still keen to join the birthday celebrations? You're more than welcome! If you'd prefer to organise your own ride, ride with friends or arrange your own shuttles, we'd still love to have you along. Registering for this free ticket simply helps us keep track of numbers so we can cater for everyone at the birthday BBQ and cupcakes! 🧁 Please note that free GGSA shuttles are reserved for registered club members, and this ticket does not include a guided ride or Come & Try insurance coverage. Non-members riding independently are responsible for their own riding arrangements and insurance. 🌭 Stick around – AGM, BBQ & Birthday Celebrations! From 12:30 pm After the morning's riding, we'll bring everyone together for our Gravity Girls SA Annual General Meeting, followed by a birthday BBQ, cake and some well-earned social time! Our AGM is a chance to reflect on another great year, share a little about what's ahead for the club and hear how you can get involved. We'd love everyone to stick around - members, non-members and Come & Try participants alike! It's a great chance to catch up with riding buddies, meet some new faces and celebrate the wonderful community we've built over the past three years. ♻️ Gear Swap & GGSA Merchandise We'll also have our Gravity Girls Gear Swap Table set up throughout the day! We've got a collection of pre-loved MTB gear that's looking for a new home - and it's all up for grabs! Have some old riding gear sitting around that's still in great condition? Bring it along and add it to the table! It's a great way to give your gear a second life and help another rider get out on the trails. 💜 👕 Gravity Girls SA t-shirts will also be available to purchase! So if you've been wanting to get your hands on some GGSA merch, this is your chance! Come for the shuttles, come for a ride, come for the cake – or come for all three! 💜 We can't wait to celebrate with you! The Gravity Girls SA Committee 💜

🎄 Gravity Girls Christmas Ride 🎄 Join us for our final ride of the year and one of our favourite GG traditions - the Gravity Girls Christmas Ride! This ride has been going almost as long as the Gravity Girls Facebook group, and we’re stoked to be doing it again this year. 💜 Choose from two ride options, with both groups making their way to the Mt Osmond lookout, where we’ll come together for pizza, drinks, GG company and some of the best sunset views in Adelaide. 🍕🌅 📅 Saturday 05 December 🚵 Ride Option 1 – Chambers Gully For strong Level 3 riders and e-bike riders We’ll ride up Chambers Gully, continue up past Cleland, then make our way down the Bullock Track to meet the other group at the Mt Osmond lookout. If there is an e-bike group keen for a longer loop, we can do that! 🕓 Meet: 4:00pm 📍 Chambers Gully Carpark, Waterfall Gully Road This is the longer and more physically demanding ride option, with plenty of climbing before we earn our pizza! 🚵‍♀️ Ride Option 2 – Pioneer Women’s Trail For Level 1–2 riders, those wanting a shorter ride, or e-bike riders looking for a more relaxed pace We’ll ride from Brock Reserve up the Pioneer Women’s Trail to the Mt Osmond lookout, where we’ll meet the Chambers Gully group for pizza and drinks as the sun goes down. 🕕 Meet: 6:00pm 📍 Brock Reserve, Dashwood Road ❤️ A note about the climb: While this is our shorter and more relaxed ride option, it is still a sustained uphill ride to reach the Mt Osmond lookout. Riders will need a reasonable level of fitness and should be comfortable climbing at their own pace. There is absolutely no rush - we’ll take our time, regroup along the way and make sure everyone gets to the top together. If you have an e-bike, this is also a great option if you’d prefer a cruisier trip to the top! What to expect ❤️ A fun afternoon/evening ride with your fellow Gravity Girls ❤️ Two ride options to suit different riding and fitness levels ❤️ Plenty of regrouping and a social, supportive pace ❤️ Pizza at the Mt Osmond lookout ❤️ BYO drinks and sunset views to finish off another fantastic year of GG riding 🌅 What to bring 💚 BYO drinks – there will be an esky at the meeting point for your drinks 💚 Your bike in good working order and any spares you may need 💚 Water and a snack for the ride 💚 Weather-appropriate clothing 💚 Lights – we’ll be finishing around sunset, so if you have them, please bring a light for the ride back down Please note: This event is open to Gravity Girls SA members only. If you’d love to join us but aren’t a member yet, you can use AusCycling’s four-week free membership trial. We can’t wait to finish another year of Gravity Girls riding together!🎄💜🚵‍♀️🍕
