🎄 Gravity Girls Christmas Ride 🎄

Join us for our final ride of the year and one of our favourite GG traditions - the Gravity Girls Christmas Ride!

This ride has been going almost as long as the Gravity Girls Facebook group, and we’re stoked to be doing it again this year. 💜

Choose from two ride options, with both groups making their way to the Mt Osmond lookout, where we’ll come together for pizza, drinks, GG company and some of the best sunset views in Adelaide. 🍕🌅

📅 Saturday 05 December

🚵 Ride Option 1 – Chambers Gully

For strong Level 3 riders and e-bike riders

We’ll ride up Chambers Gully, continue up past Cleland, then make our way down the Bullock Track to meet the other group at the Mt Osmond lookout. If there is an e-bike group keen for a longer loop, we can do that!

🕓 Meet: 4:00pm
📍 Chambers Gully Carpark, Waterfall Gully Road

This is the longer and more physically demanding ride option, with plenty of climbing before we earn our pizza!

🚵‍♀️ Ride Option 2 – Pioneer Women’s Trail

For Level 1–2 riders, those wanting a shorter ride, or e-bike riders looking for a more relaxed pace

We’ll ride from Brock Reserve up the Pioneer Women’s Trail to the Mt Osmond lookout, where we’ll meet the Chambers Gully group for pizza and drinks as the sun goes down.

🕕 Meet: 6:00pm
📍 Brock Reserve, Dashwood Road

❤️ A note about the climb: While this is our shorter and more relaxed ride option, it is still a sustained uphill ride to reach the Mt Osmond lookout. Riders will need a reasonable level of fitness and should be comfortable climbing at their own pace. There is absolutely no rush - we’ll take our time, regroup along the way and make sure everyone gets to the top together.

If you have an e-bike, this is also a great option if you’d prefer a cruisier trip to the top!

What to expect

❤️ Two ride options to suit different riding and fitness levels
❤️ Plenty of regrouping and a social, supportive pace
❤️ Pizza at the Mt Osmond lookout
❤️ BYO drinks and sunset views to finish off another fantastic year of GG riding 🌅

What to bring

💚 BYO drinks – there will be an esky at the meeting point for your drinks
💚 Your bike in good working order and any spares you may need
💚 Water and a snack for the ride
💚 Weather-appropriate clothing
💚 Lights – we’ll be finishing around sunset, so if you have them, please bring a light for the ride back down
